Hello brunettes! You can now get a gorgeous hair color at home with natural hair dye.
Being a bit of a hair snob, I only used to color my hair at fancy salons like Aveda (they are the most natural) or not at all. But with my busier-than-ever work schedule, I couldn’t make time for the appointment and also wanted to rather spend the $$$ on a cute new dress and hair dye. Hair coloring at New York salons can be really expensive.
I had noticed NATURCOLOR At-Home Natural Hair Dye at Whole Foods (http://www.naturcolor.com/) and finally dared to make the leap to trying to do this on my own, at home. I used the 4C, Twinberry Chestnut. Let me know what you think of the results in the YouTube comments or Tweet me at https://twitter.com/annabelladaily!

THE FIND: Costello Tagliapietra Spring/Summer Dresses
After I once dreamily said, when working on this blog, “I just want to buy all the [eco] dresses in the word,” it become a running joke for my husband. Slipping on a great dress in the morning makes styling a pure joy -and so easy! Today I’m completely inspired by Costello Tagliapietra’s SS12 collection of gorgeous florals and chic cuts. The design duo is a using their AirDye technology with the lower priced line on sale at Barneys. Who’s your favorite designer? Let us know, so we can all be inspired by them too:-)

STYLE: Statement Earrings
Style: Skinny Jeans & Tunic
Ideal outfit for a casual friday, weekend or even everyday! I love a soft tunic over skinny jeans and a beanie is not only chic, but a great way to avoid styling your hair. Platform pumps and a wide belt add structure and style to the look. These pieces from my closet are by Ivana Basilotta (the tunic), Prairie Underground (jeans), Stella McCartney (belt), Olsen Haus (shoes). The beanie is an old one from the back of Viola’s closet!

STYLE: One-Shoulder Dress
I have never had easier time choosing what to wear when I was planning my outfit for my Finnish TV show’s premiere party. It takes me more time to dress for work meetings!
One-shoulder dress is always elegant, yet subtly sexy and it was exactly what I wanted to communicate when doing press. I paired this Ivana Basilotta peace-silk piece with a Jill Milan clutch and Beyond Skin leopard-print heels. I kept the gems simple and only added an old thin gold cuff (my good luck charm) and stud earrings.
The TV show follows the lives of four real Finnish women working and living in New York (yes, very Sex and the City) and premiered yesterday on the Liv TV channel. Some of the highlights include eco fashion events (in this city, being vegan and eco is glamorous!) and my volunteer trip to Catskills Animal Sanctuary, which is a magical place.

Magic Tips to Thick, Fast-Growing, Voluminous Hair
My number one beauty wish has always been shampoo-commercial hair. I was not born with it. When I stress, it shows in my hair, making it even thinner and stunting the growth. But finally I have found solutions to get my hair stronger, more voluminous and growing faster! Watch the video for the magic tips and please let me know in the comments your favorite hair products and tips so we can all test test them out too.

BEAUTY: Natural Cure Tips for Winter Dry Skin
Dry and sensitive skin adore organic and natural products like these! My skin gets very dry in the winter and my face tends to get quite red so I’m loving the new sensitive skincare kit by Aveda, moisturizers by Amakai (I use it on my body, hands and face: it makes your skin glow like nothing else) and the perfect blotting paper by Tatcha (powder dries up your skin). To rejuvenate at night, I also love the aloe vera Dream Care pad you put into your pillow. If you have secrets to treating dry and sensitive skin, please let us all know in the comments below!
MY STYLE: Weekend in the Berkshires
The Stella McCartney for Adidas snow boots were perfect for a hike in the snow-covered woods, the organic cotton skinny pants by Prairie Underground are my go-to on the weekends (cool and oh-so-comfortable!) and the Lina Forlino linen scarf from the Parisian Green in the City boutique was warm and kept my look chic enough for a later lunch in Lenox. Even though not eco, the yellow pig necklace from J.Crew was a gift from my hubby (he grabbed this navy vegan crew neck knit for me from there too). It’s the one animal he promised not to eat after we met:-)
NYFW: Behind the Scenes at Ivana Helsinki
That’s me, with new chic wavy hair-do at the Ivana Helsinki show at New York Fashion Week (video tutorial to come soon! My sister and hair stylist Viola helped me create this look via Skype after we saw many a celebrity sport this look at the Emmy’s). I’m also wearing my current obsession: the leopard print Beyond Skin heels. What’s your current style obsession?

FASHION: Ethical Designers at New York Fashion Week
A handful of eco designers presented their fall collections today at the Lincoln Center. I adore Study and wish I could have bought the organic cotton dress with an uneven hem straight off designer Tara’s back! Worth noticing were also Bamboo By (chic for day), Luis Valenzuela (show-stopping for evening) and Battalion as well as jewels by supermodel Coco Rocha for Senhoa.
